Default Disconnect the battery ?

I got an aftermarket component speaker replaced once at the install shop. Well I blew my speaker after 5 years so I'm placing it with a new component speaker. Since everything already pre wired by the shop. I'm just gonna switch out the speakers, tweeters, and the crosssover box.
Do I really need to disconnect my battery so I don't blow a fuse ? Or it it safe to do since the car will be off anyway. Thanks for any help you guys can give me.
