audio help for rear speakers?
What amp should i use to power the stock front speakers, and rear 5.25s? I have a Alpine ida-x303 head unit. i also want enough power for a 8inch sub. what would be a decent amp for around 200-250?
The electronics section would have been the proper place to post this.
I honestly dont think you should put an amp to your stock speakers, they wont last long at all. Also since you have an upgraded headunit already, if you replace your door speakers you will get a much better sound.
So I would replace door speakers, leave all the wiring from the aftermarket headunit to the speakers, then get a single channel amplifier for your 8" sub.
There are tons of amps out there, I had an alpine V-Power and it was great hooked to my single 12". If someone else has a better option they can post.
