Looks good Can I ask why you didn't do something different with the trunk panels instead of just overlaying the stock pieces? It looks great but I was just wondering?

Nice work Lee
Definately clean.

Now that the amp install is fresh in your mind, you can help me install mine when you are free.

The new speakers I intalled this weekend sound compressed. I was advised to install an amp .

I actually think the OEM speakers sounded better than the polks!........I know theses are average speakers, but damn, I never thought they would be less efficent than stock.

hahaha good question - i suppose my main reason was that I still want to be able to use the trunk if i need to. obviously it can never be used on the spur of the moment, but if the wife and i decide to go away for the weekend, i wanted as much space in there as possible now that the toolwell area is gone. I plan on making some plexi floor panels so that i can put them in when i plan to use the trunk and whatever is in there will not damage the CF weave. I just assumed that given the shape of the stock panels, they would maximize the space the most!

Hey, real nice job.

Only thing I would suggest is to pick up the Belkin iPod car adaptor, which has a line-out on the power socket plug. This way, you get a MUCH better sound from the iPod, and you only have to run the 3.5mm cord to the power point, not the iPod itself, for a cleaner install.
