Audio Setup
I had the QSD 216's in my M3 cabrio. They were SO bright that even with the top down at 90mph, the front soundstage was clearly defined
I ended up running the tweeters at the next-to-lowest setting on teh crossover and playing with the HU settings a bit untill they actually sounded pretty damn good. I think they're potentially a very rewarding speaker with enough clean power and a lot of tweaking. They were perfect for top-down motoring where the ambient wind noise took the edge off.
That said, I listened to a pair of Diamond Audio S600s in a friend's M3 running on a virtually identical setup, and I thought they were a better sounding speaker (and at about 2/3 the cost!). I think the MB quarts are a bit overpriced and a bit unbalanced vs what else is out there.
edit: just re-read and noticed that you're looking at the qsC's, not qsD's. Since I've not heard the C's, I suppose I'm not really of much help! doh!
