anywhere near here thats reputable near baltimore??? i want to get all the stereo etc customized.. the tv input thru the laptop .. nav.. the whole deal.. any suggestions?
Well, I would have recommended CarSounds, formerly on York Road in Timonium, but they're out of business. I would have recommended Audio Connection (Joppa Rd, Towson) if this guy Chris was still there, but he quit <3 months ago (you can still try there, but they sell at retail). Truthfully, I've had bad experiences with Audio Connection, until I met that guy Chris. I'm going to try to find out where he went off to, but until then you've got to just ask around (try www.caraudioforum.com ). SoundSolutions in Owings Mills used to be managed by two friends of mine, but they've moved on since. Try finding a place in MD that deals with competition cars and that's the place you want to go.
well for the quality of work, i will travel as far as i need to along the reach of 3-4 hours. i believe chris from towson audio connection went to the audio connection in columbia near my house. i know i saw a new guy working there a while back named chris, and he had mentioned saying something about coming from another store of theirs.. shrug.

Thats a loaded question cause I got a shitload of stuff done all at the same time. I will say that a video setup with a cut dash is not a project for the faint of heart! BOTH financially and emotionally.
The Alpine NAV unit will set up back $1800, then u need a screen &500 and up, and a DVD player if you want video. Then need to pay the piper to cut the big ass hole in ur dash!
