Default Audiobahn?

Does anyone have any experience with Audiobahn products? I'm looking to get an Audiobahn sub and amp. I know that their sub's can handle a load of power but how do they fair in terms of sound quality? How would they compare to Rockford Fosgate? Thank you for any advice

give me a budget and i'll be able to find a better amp for the money then the audiobahn.

of course if you want the bling-bling of the audiobahn, i can't help you there...

Their subs CANNOT hold a load of power. Audiobahn is more into looks than performance. There are much better things out there than Audiobahn.

i wouldn't agree that Audiobahn subs can't handle power... there are some very high power handling Audiobahns out there... afterall, Audiobahn is really aimed at the 'louder is better' and 'bling-bling' market.

but i would have to agree and say there are better amps and subs out there for the money.
and Audiobahn gear is definitely not what i would suggest for anyone who was interested in sound quality... NY's setup aside, i'd only put Audiobahn in a car that was going for SPL. and even then, there is better gear out there for the money.

what are you looking to spend? and what kind of music do you normally listen to? also -- what size sub are you interested in?

I'll help you out with the bling bling

Pyramid chrome basket and cone...BAM!

Boss Chaos Amp...ShaaaaaaaZAM!!!

Now I know what you're thinking..."1000 watts?!?! Won't 250 watts per channel make my speakers explode?!"

Ah-hah...you're in luck. 1000 watts is really the max power of the amp

Well....although I know how most people feel about audiobahn, Ill put in my .02.

I am not here to knock other brands, opinions, or anything else....I am stating from first hand experience. First of all....if you do not have great speakers, it makes no difference as to what amp you get, since the output will still sound like crap, so for the sake of arguement, I will assume you have good components and wiring.

I have Audiobahn amps. 2 2601Q's (they are not 2601T's now)

They put out 150W x 2 @ 4 ohms
210W x 2 @ 2 ohms (for a DVC sub)

I have ran them to hell and back....summertime, full crank,

No overheating, not cutting off, no fading, nothing. THey sound great, perform great, and have served me well. For the price, I KNOW, you cannot get a better amp. I paid 250 a piece, with warranty, and you can get them for even less. I dont care about looks, they just happen to be attractive amps. I have heard a lot of systems with better amps, and they sound worse. Granted, my components are great, but nevertheless, I think it sounds great, and so does everyone who has heard it. Everyone has an opinion on this, but as an owner, I think they are great. I have owned PPI, HIFONICS, ALPINE, and my Audiobahn's are just as good as any of them. So, take that as you wish, if you have any more questions, let me know....

i definitely get tired of all the threads, but it has helped me w/ my legit PPD count...

From my experiences and friends' experiences many audiobahn subs used to say 600 watts rms or whatever yet they'd pop at around anything over 300 watts rms.
