Default Autometer Gauge install problems

Ok installed three gauges AEM UEGO pinned into the AEM ECU, Autometer boost gauge, Autometer water temp gauge. The water temp gauge never reads above 100F called autometer directly they were no help at all. Actually they were the opposite of help because they only confused me further. They refered it as being a ground loop and that is why their .85 cent sender isnt getting a reading. Before I tear this shit out of my car and spend $$$ to get DEFI gauges can anyone help. Or give me a spot in the engine bay where I can get a solid ground. There is a spot next to the radiator on both sides behind the headlights where there are 6-10 wires grounded on each side I tried grouding the sender there it did not work.

any help is appreciated.

Should be fairly simple. If you're using one of the gauges that has a single wire temp sender, it needs to find it's path to ground through the actual threads of the sender (the sender body). Because your sender is not installed into the block, you'll need to provide an auxiliary ground. I typically do this by putting a small hose clamp around the body of the sender and using that to clamp a wire in place (the actual body, not the terminal at the top). You can then run that wire to the block (or to what looks like the strut tower close to your hose adapter) to give it a good ground. Hope this helps!
