You'll only get alternator whine with cheap kits.

i have a cheap ebay one. when i had the unit stuffed behind the radio and the aux cord coming out kinda pinched between the radio cover trim it whined bad, almost to much to use....my buddy suggested i try rerouting it. so i fed the wire up from the inside passenger foot well. plugged it in, the aux cord is long enough to reach but now the little box part is over a foot away from the radio.very very very little whine. 99% of the time you dont hear it at all

I installed the aux adapter to the back and my Immobilizer icon doesn't show up on my dash anymore.

I have an ap2 05
