AUX input sound quality?
Hey guys, ive been looking at this

Has anyone ever tried something like this. I have a real simple MP3 player and it would be great to keep the stock Head unit, controls, and cd changer with the abilty to just connect my MP3 player. But I HATE crappy sound quaility. I have a nice Pioneer MP3 deck just sitting in my room. I like the idea of just connecting my little MP3 player and going that way, but if its not going to sound good Ill just put in the pioneer and use the DCI from Modifry. so any input from you guys would be great thanks.

I have never had any SQ issues with aux input. Any cheap RCA to mini-headphone will do just fine. As for a splitter, that one looks very cheap and may cause interference esp when switching but I have no experience with it. Best way to go with multi-input would be something like alpine's ai-net processors. Maybe pioneer has something along those lines.
