Default bad experience with onlinecarstereo.com

I bought an mp3 deck for my civic a few months ago (got a cheap model - only around $130). When it arrived it was obvious that it was used - scratches, the wires had been cut, the packaging was bad. I figured I could handle that as long as the thing worked. Well, the face plate didn't even fit on the deck properly. I wired it up anyways hoping it would work but it would power up and then shut off after a few seconds.
Anyways, I sent onlinecarstereo several emails explaining to them that I wanted to return it and there was never a reply. So I called and waited on hold for over an hour a few times and never got to talk to anyone. Rather than waste more of my time I just ate the $130 and haven't bothered dealing with it anymore. Just thought I'd warn all of you guys.

Take 10mins and fill out a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.

DO NOT do that....please...

Between my friends and I, ive sent about 40,000 dollars on that site. None of use had ANY kind of problem. They have incredible shipping speed, prices, and there is always someone to talk to on the other line.

You 99.99999% bought a refurbished product (and saved a few bucks) and didnt notice it. They do sell a large amount of reconditioned products....so dont jump to conclusions.

Ive never recieved anything other than brand new SEALED if it was advertised as so. They are one of the few online stores where people should trust and have no problem buying.

You purchased a refurbished product, and didnt notice it. Live and learn.

I checked and double checked the description of the product and nowhere did it say it was reconditioned or used.

That is incredibely strange. I have never encountered this kind of problem with them. I second the notion to dispute it on the CC company, and take it from there.

Call THEM and ask. We don't know. What's the worst they will say? "No."

It does not hurt to work with CC company. Most of them will try to please their customers, that is you, not the merchants. Also, you have 60 days after you received the statement from CC company to dispute any charge, and you may have double warranty from CC company too.

I am having small problem with cardomain.com that I am working with my MasterCard.
