Talking Baffles for front speakers?

Is anyone using these? I have notived a very good bass response without them but lucid claims they will improve bass response just looking for feedback.

Baffles do not mean the same to everyone. Therefore, which kind of "baffles" are you referring to?

Most door speakers aren't designed to operate sealed, and so they will actually hurt the bass response.

However, I still use them for moisture protection. I just cut out a hole in the bottom of 'em to let the air pass through.

JawKnee...I believe these are what he's refering to:

I also assumed he was referring to the XTC Baffles or something similar.

I also run these as well, and as Dcon67 already mentioned, these will actually hurt bass response since most components aren't designed to be used in a sealed application. I actually tested the bass response without the baffle and with an unmodified baffle, and the bass response was definitely hurt due to the baffle.

However, again like Dcon67, I use them for moisture protection, but I cut more than just a hole in the bottom. I essentially cut the back so it would act as an umbrella if that makes any sense.
