Where do you think I could put two more speakers that would be kindof behind me, so I get good surround? I can't believe they just put two speakers in it, guess it's a real sports car

There has been some discussion about placing speakers in the head rests.

I think proper staging can be achieved with component speakers for the doors. 6.5' woofers in the doors and tweets in the pillars or in the top of the door.

I think that's about the closest I'm getting to 4 speakers.

As for surround, you wouldn't get any benefit with audio CD's. 2 channel stereo.

I say let the guys with back seats have 4 speakers.

What do you mean by pillars? That's a good point, there's really no "back" for sound to come from!

jon- he is referring to the front windshield pillars. some owners mount tweeters in the pillars.
