I also find it to be too busy.

I went with this deck because it is so minimalistc (word???), like the S2000..

If my mom saw that double-DIN Alpine I think she'd have a seisure. It took her a few days to just figure out how to use a Tivo!

I wonder why the US market doesn't get more double-DIN sized head units. I could see them appealing to a huge market of young people that have those Aiwa boomboxes with crazy color displays as well as serious audio nuts that want more circuitry in their players, like the HU at the top of the thread.
