Batter drained CEL code P1298

Default Batter drained CEL code P1298



Car runs great up until it drains the battery the alternator is good and I just replaced the ELD
And still drained the battery, the dash lights go completely dim and the EPS light comes on and steering gets hard has anyone ever experienced like this ?

Were you able to read-out specific of the P1298 code? Maybe faulty ELD?

BTW... what's the story with that red line going into the relay/fuse box? Seems damaged.

That aftermarket red wire maybe a source of parasitic draw. Do you know what device it's going to?

For anyone who comes to this thread having the same code pop up check the 15amp fuse for the ACG under the dash before anything. I had the same problem and I just so happen to have a blown fuse
