Default Can't get rid of cel

My check engine light is on. I think it is due to a loose gas cap. Anyway I tried resetting the ECU by pulling out the fuse on farthest right. It's the second one since the first slot is empty. Am doing something wrong? I pulled it out for a good 30 seconds but when I started up the car the check engine light is still there.

Thanks

You can unhook your battery to make sure our pulling the right fuse. Also are you pulling the pink 30 fuse? Thats the one to get rid of CEL.

Just make sure to take the red pill.

If you end up needing to disconnect the battery, make sure you have your radio code handy.

HURRAY THE CEL IS GONE. I did not disconnect the battery.
However, It's asking for my radio code now. It's a good thing I still have the card handy.

Thanks again guys!

Hey, FYI, Stale... The CEL is now called the MIL (Malfunction Indicator Lamp). Of course, everyone knows what you mean by CEL, but in case you have to peek around the shop manual, just thought I'd let ya' know...
