Battery Died.....
hrm.... that's what i was asking... that battery looks much bigger than a type 51R. i'm hoping that what we're seeing isn't the only one available.
a quick google research shows that Optima (makers of Yellow Tops) are part of the Johnson Controls Incorporated.
here we can see that Johnson Controls, Inc. has filed a lawsuit against Exide Corp. as a part of JC,Inc losing the Sears battery contract to Exide in 1994.
on Exide's website, we see no mention of being a part of the "Johnson Controls, Inc. family", but do see reference to all the sub brands that Exide provides for...
so, i'm inclined to think that Exide is independant of Optima....
but i still wonder if the Exide will fit in our cars.
