Default Bazooka Tube where the spare was?

Has anyone mounted a Bazzoka tube where the spare once was?

Tubes are usually used in hatchback/wagon applications. They dont sound right when they are in a trunk. Plus, they would take up a crapload of room. If you want a sub, just stick in on the side (8") or sink a 10" into the toolwell.. Those are the best options......

If you need to meet up with me sometime so I can show/explain some things, just let me know.

Those things are overpriced. You can get an Infinity Perfect sub for a little over 100 bucks, and the sound is worlds better than a basslink or the woox. If you sink the sub all the way on to the bottom of the toolwell, you lose almost no trunkspace. Just let me know......I just got a garage where I will be doing all my work, so I can help you install it if you need it.

Amp where the spare was is a good idea. And you can even go to any decent shop, and theyll build you for like 150 bucks a great enclosure (its that cheap because you already have all the specs. In the FAQ section of the electronics forum, you have diagrams and dimentions of the boxes. When you get it done, just bring the amp and box over to me, and Ill install it in no time flat.

Here is what I would recommend......

Get an Infinity Kappa Perfect 10.1D......its a great DVC subwoofer...available from www.hookedontronics.com for $122.00

I used them many times, and everything arrives in 4 days brand new....great place...got my changer from them.

And a nice amp for this would be a Phoenix Gold R4.0:2....

its 125x2 @4ohms which is perfect for this sub. Its available from onlinecarstereo.com for a great 139.00
THis should solve all your bass needs.

And dont worry about putting things on the sub.....just get a grill for it and you can throw whatever you want on it.
