Some local guys and I are upgrading our door speakers soon and would like som eopinions on these speakers. We're pretty set on them already, but still would like to hear from those who have them. Personally, I'd like to know how the mid bass is and the clarity. I'm a big fan of strong, clear mid-bass, which is why I'm staying away from the Infinity's. But I haven't heard the XR's in an S2000 so I'm not sure how the mid-bass is, I've just been told its stronger than Infinity's.

All comments welcome.

Thanks!

XRs midbass is better than the Perfects. However, the clarity is better on the perfects, along with the highs. They are however, overpriced. I would look Focal over the JL.

A local shop here can get us an awesome deal on the XR's, like $230 I believe. There isn't a focal dealer anywhere close at all, and I'm not buying something I haven't heard, so I'm kinda limited

Thanks for your input tho. Do you still like the sound of the XR's?

Yes they are nice sounding speakers if thats what you are asking. For 230, they are a good buy. Enjoy!
