Beeping: What's Wrong?
It probably thinks the key is still in the ignition. When the key is in the ignition the remote is disabled. This is a common problem and Honda should remedy it. It might be best to let your dealer look at the car in this condition. Alternatively, if you pop the key in and out of the ignition a few times, it may clear. See the thread titled "my car thinks the key is still in the ignition" over in the "Tell Honda" forum here at the site.
I have this problem too and so do many many others. Take a look at this thread. If you feel that you fit in this category, post up and I'll add your name to the list:

Thanks. Did not find the string via search. Looks as if I'm not the lone ranger. Seems as if the problem has been going on for some time. Is there a TSB on this?
Here's what I posted to your link list:
"Our '06 with 14K mi does this often and annoyingly. My wife is particularly upset about it. The locking system is not reliable. Neither is the remote.
Another grumble: the passenger door lock. Why can't it be locked/unlocked from the driver's position? There is simply no excuse for this irritating oversight, IMHO.
Grrrr...."
