Default Best box for 12" JLW6?

I have a 12" JLw6 given to me in a custom box that wont fit into the trunk. Has anyone built a box for this speaker that fits well? Or does anyone have any recommendations of box orientation? I want to pull the speaker out of the existing box and put it in a box that would fit better, either bought or built by me. Maybe someone has some dimensions that they can provide that work well....

Need advice.....Thanks!

Maybe you can modify the box to fit? I have done it once. Or just go to your local audio store and pick one that will fit. The box I currently have for my 12w3 was purchased from a local store for $60, it fits fine - not like the custome enclosures for the s2K you'd see being sold for a lot more $$$. It fits in the trunk well but leaves a bit room on the left/right sides and is not flush - maybe an inch or 2 higher, I don't care. The carpet matches perfectly and it looks and sounds good so I'm not going to spend any more $$$

I think people are also using some qlogic boxes that fit in the trunk quite decently.

Need better options for more $$$? Check out lucid.

I'm all about saving the dollas and going with a less custom box, I just want something to fit inside the well, it can stick above, or not, but must look decent and sound good. Maybe I'll go by my local audio shop and see what he has.

I am using lucid's 12" sub box. Works fairly well. 12W6's don't require much air space.

I assume you are talking about the box for 200 bucks. Kinda pricey, and judging by your statement that it works "fairly well" .... I dont guess its worth that amount. Not to me at least...
