MB Quarts suck.............you crazy!

I just installed MB Quarts components on my 01 S2k and those things knock more then most 6x9's in premium sound systems..........I also managed to install the tweeters in the side slots of the window frame.....

Which looks way better then those silly door tweeter on the 02 models..............

pics coming soon...

Diamonds (what is that Liz Taylors women's fragrance)

peace out

I've used ADS speaker for many years in previous cars, and I have juste recently switched to MB Quart seperates. I don't recall the exact model number but I got a hell of a discount on them and they were still around $500 for the pair. I will honestly say that they are not the ultra smooth sounding ADS that I once had but they are definetally some of the better component speakers that I have owned.

Please hurry with the pics of your tweeter mounts. I'm still in the process of getting everything organized for my install. Sounds like you may have the perfect solution. Thanks!!!!

Once you get to brands like MB Quart, Diamon Audio, Focal, and Dynaudio it is ALL OPINION! Listen to all the speakers you can afford and go from there. Price them out on-line. Go to dealers and llisten, then buy them cheaper on-line. Mos tspeakers of this caliber NEED an amplifier. If you do not plan on getting an amp (and a decent one) don't waste your money on good speakers. A car audio system is only as good as it's weakest link.

On a budget I would listen to the entry level Focal's, Canton speakers (if you can find them), the QUarts, and JL evolution line. Decide which one sounds the best to you.

Hey this is not a flame just one small business owners opinion!

Its thinking like this that one day will lead to WAL-MART being the ONLY place to buy anything!

Small retail stores like stereo shops (especially now) have been really hard hit! After this Christmas you will see MANY retailers shut there doors forever. Please everyone try to support your local businesses.

If a dealer takes his time to show you product in his lighted/heated/pay rolled, paid tax on, etc showroom doesn
