Default Best gauges to get for natural aspirated?

I am looking to get the dual a-pillar gauge for my 01 s2k. I have never ran gauges, and would like your guys' feedback on this. I was thinking that i was going to run a OIL PRESSURE GAUGE and an AIR/FUEL GAUGE. Im sure that you will all like to hear WHAT i have modified on my car, and WHAT my plans are:
I currently have:
AEM cold air intake, a TEST PIPE, and a CUSTOM EXHAUST

MY plans are:
a year from now post-military deployment, the first thing i will be doing is adding a custom turbo kit.

I am just not sure what gauges i'd like to put in my interior, and actually the main purpose/function of EACH of the aftermarket gauges. ANY AND ALL HELP would be GRRREATLY APPRECIATED!

<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<THANKS GUYS!!!>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

if you are going to boost you need a boost gauge and either an egt or air/fuel gauge to tell how rich or lean you are.

I am a rookie when it come to GAUGE question, but even i know that a BOOST GAUGE is not only nice to have, but pretty necessary to have when forced induced-LOL! Thank you for your response though, it was nice of you to go out of your way to drop me a sentence.
BESIDES that "boost gauge," and BEFORE i even get around to installing my turbo which will not be installed for at the very least another year, two at max, which couple of gauges would benefit me majorily??

Is my idea of an OIL PRESSURE/AIR-FUEL gauge still the best way to go with? Thanks guys. Also, what is the main difference between the mechanical and electrical gauges, as well as the "short-sweep" thing? I just simply DO NOT understand all of those differences!

<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<THANKS AGAIN GUYS>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
