Default Best HU under 200$ for use with Modifry

I want one that has good power, and has MP3 playback but most importantly is compatible with the Modifry Unit.

Thanks

Im about to pick up the Alpine 9884 and have heard nothing but great things about it. The 9885 can be had for ~200.00 as well.

I have the Alpine 9884 and really like it. The interface isn't as sexy as I would like it to be, nor does it have some crazy souped-up display but as far as quality and functionality are concerned, it's top notch.

Pioneer 5000. Very cheap fit and finish and feels flimsy, but for a low cost, deck powered solution, it'll sound infinitely better than a cheap Alpine deck. The cheapness of the buttons and faceplate don't bother me since the radio door covers it up and I only use the dash buttons. My combo (5000+Modifry+Ipod) works quite well for cheap.

Pioneer 5000?!?! Alpine's user interface is 3x better then pioneer, and better screen, construction, and finish. Alpine has the better ipod interface also.

Yeah, but it sounds a million times worse because of the cheap internal amp. As I said, who cares about the fit+finish and user interface when the radio door covers all of it?

I like my Clarion DXZ585usb... but I use a number of different USB devices depending on who's in the car so I like having the USB port on the front that can play from iPod and remote storage like my friend's blackberry.

I don't like the way alpine/pioneer decks look now. Clarion's the closest to reasonable looking while having the features I wanted. I had a nakamichi deck in my other car which was good, but no MP3 abilities.

The UI isn't the best, but it seems to be made pretty well and it sounds good even with my el cheapo Phoenix Gold $50 coaxials and cadence amp.

I got an alpine ida x200 for $150 off ebay about couple weeks ago.
It works great with i pod and modifry dci.
It was really easy to install w/ modifry's plug n play harness.
