Default Best Place in SF Bay Area to get s2000 key laser cut/programmed?

Hi i actually bought a new s2000 labelled immobilizer key and remote fob. I am trying to keep things as original as possible.

(How many keys with "s2000" on it actually came with the car when new btw?)

Anyone have suggestions as to best place to get key cut, recognized by car then key fob alarm remote programmed.

I only have one remote and one standard black honda key.

Not to be named dealer said there was only ONE uncut Honda s2000 key left in the entire USA.

Needless to say I am not going back there.

What are recent going rates for laser cut, programming of key and programming of alarm remote?

I was thinking of getting a CK 100 but would probably only use it once. In addition has anyone ever bricked all keys accidentally using the CK 100.

If anyone can do this for me I would be more than happy to pay u for your time.

Thank you everyone!
Lou

I had a dealer in Dublin who may have mistakenly only charged me $40 to cut and program a generic honda key. I then found a replica s2k key off facebook which the dealer said they couldn't program or cut. However, I then ended up finding a locksmith in San Ramon (can dig up if you really want it) who was able to cut and program for roughly...$60? $80? Not sure. It did take them about 20 minutes to do everything though. My car is a 2005 if it matters. As for the key fob programming, you can DIY. There's a bunch of instructions on here; just make sure you have both fobs when you reprogram because it wipes out the original ones. I can help program the fobs for free if you're in the 925 area.

I tried the DIY as well as trying to have people at batteries plus try both with the OBDII connector as well as the homebrew method. Neither worked and they did not charge me.

Batteries plus cut and programmed my s2000 labeled key for $69. They f'd the first one I brought them because they didn't know to set the machine on USA key (there is a japan setting apparently, which cuts it below the tip of the blank inexplicably). Anyway they got me a new key and cut and programmed it and its all good now.

Still trying to figure out what to do with the second remote. Maybe I will buy a generic one off of amazon like the generic one I have now and see what happens.

the online honda parts place insists it is the correct one, but I don't know what to make of it.

guess I can try the actual dealer now.
