LOL Extra Crispy.

S2Spoon, take their advice we will help you, they helped me and I cannot be happier with my system. Did it all myself with help from the forum.

You dont need to cut anything, the sub is less than 2 feet behind you, you can hear it if you put a lead wall behind you.

If you go infiniti, like NFR said, you have to get the perfects.

well,

the chicken is the expensive part.

I think you can pick up the Perfects online for about $300, nfr can verify this.

Amp anywhere between $250 to $400, depending on brand and power out put.

Sub anywhere from $100 to $200, 8 or 10 inch. I went with a Alphasonik PSW 810, 10 inch sub, I think I paid $180 for it.

Enclosure - home made cost-$25, purchased the MDF at homedepot and ordered the carpet online.

Fried Chicken, hmm about $5 for a 12 piece bucket from KFC

Trunk space I sacrificed was the tool well area. Look below.

the UK'er needs the following help, i have so far got.

head unit alpine CDA9833R also got with that ipod and dash interface.

amps 1 x 500/1 JL audio which is to run a JL audio 8W7 sub which i am to build a boot enclosure for.
front comps are boston acoustics ProSeries 6.5 System which are to be run using a 300/2 JL amp.

I have only just started with dyamating the boot pic below.

and have no idea what cables i need to be using to run this lot, also from reading black knights wiring thread does the UK car differ alot from where to run feeds or will it just be opposite to the US?

if somebody could let me have a list of cables and how many and any connectors required that would be great. this will save me time and money as you hae all done it before.

from what i can remember you run a live from the battery all the way to the amp do i need to run two amp cables or just one big one then split it once at the boot? do you run an earth from the battery as well or pick on up in the boot for the amps?

speaker cable, run from where to where. dumb questions i know but its a big learning curve for me.

Knukonceptz.com

Best wiring option.

Many many people use this on this forum.

I will post later on exact lengths and what to get, off to work now.

Check it out.

You will need two sets of RCA interconnects, power and ground wire, remote wire, fuses and inline fuse holder, and speaker wire.
