best way to connect ipod to 2006 factory headunit?

i tried my friends fm transmitter and it sucked. what do you guys have?

You can get a factory interface from the dealer.

I replaced the HU because I didn't like the factory display.. too limited for MP3s IMO.

I have a Hon-Aux connector that plugs into the back where the 6 disc cd changer would normally plug in. Then it runs under the shift boot and comes out on the opening for the ebrake and plugs into the headphone jack. perfect spot for my nano. I'm about to be upgrading here in the next week and would be willing to sell it to you. Let me know. Oh, its hooked up on a MY05.

05 and 06 have different hu no? if not, i'm interested.

yes, i'm aware of the factory interface. but is it any good? is there something better? thats what i need to know.

Big for the Dension adaptor That's what I use with the IPod resting on a piece of foam in the centre console.
