Big 3?
Has anyone done the Big 3 on the car? The search is down and curious if this is easy or hard to do on the car? Also if you have done this, what wires and parts did you use and any hints?

yes the s2000 has a poor grounding system, i gained 1 volt at the amp in the trunk thru 4 gauge after i did a big 3 to a customers car! so it is worth it!.

jaeden was talking about doing it and had done a lot of research, but i don't know if he's done it yet. i dont think claus or NS bothered, and i haven't.
I haven't bothered to upgrade the engine block to battery ground because, well, I'm lazy...and the car runs fine without doing so The S has plenty of grounding between the engine and everything else, I see no real need to upgrade it. The truck has a pretty massive ground cable as is.
In the truck, I've upgraded the alternator cable to 1/0 (and did see a benefit in battery voltage). Haven't done this in the S because, well, the alternator to battery run is much less convenient for 1/0 (and, to be honest, I'm too lazy) - additionally, the amps in the S don't really draw enough current to make the upgrade needed. Should I ever push hard enough to make the lights flicker, I'll upgrade the cable. Until then, it's solid enough as is.
General rule of thumb is: The ground cable off the battery should, at least, match the power line going off.
NOTE: I do NOT, in any way, shape, or form, condone the usage of the JDM-bling-yo grounding kits. Look, a $4 foot of 1/0 will do the same, if not better, for your grounding. The S is actually well grounded. There are fricking ground wires/bolts EVERYWHERE. The biggest issue is throughput with regards to your amp. If you have 1/0 coming off the Pos side but 8ga on the negative, you're limited to 8ga worth of available power (current travels from neg to pos, btw). If you're running less than 1000W, upgrade the neg battery cable and call it good .
