soooo basically you pull this ECU out , and hook up the starter wire and you could steal the car anyways? or you just connect all the wires back together at the ecu part??
Sure you can...good luck finding both in a timely manner, or knowing what it is...this is the exact reason why I will not be displaying the installation portion. And it depends on if you hook it up to the fuel pump or the starter or any other method of killing the car...btw its a lot better than just stealing the car which you can do with any stand alone.

I'd love to get my hands on one of these to see how fast I could disable it. More will to you though, this is the baddest ass lock i've seen since the transporter.

Thanks, it is meant as a deterrent and a small piece of mind while the car is parked. Fortunately it sits in the garage most the time so no big deal.

haha, its not that simple. I am a little more intelligent that you guys are giving me credit for. Im not going to spend money on something some little kid can just do in a few mintues. I took my time did it right, install is 4+ hours of dressing in everything to the factory harness.

Recently I read a news item about a guy that got his Audi A8 stolen, which has a fingerprint reader as an option. The burglars cut his finger off!!! So they could start the car without him present (well, not all of him anyway :-) No fingerprint reader for me, no thanks...
