Default Blown dash control lights

After installing Randy's color filter kit, I noticed that my mode, engine start, and mute button were not lighting up after I turn on my lights. I don't know if it was because of the color filter kit (which, I highly doubt) or it was there and I never noticed it. Is there any way to replace the lights to those buttons that were mentioned? The whole switch assembly costs upwards of $100+ . Thanks!

Update: After pounding with my fist on the side of the dash, each light lit up one by one. Now let me re-phrase my question . . . is there any way to have the dash control lights stay lit up? I sure don't want to look like an idiot when I'm pounding the dash of a $35000 car .

You don't want to look like an idiot...and I don't want to sound like an ass... As I've done this mod myself as well, is it fair to ask "did you *definitely* secure the wire harness clips to their appropriate dash mate?" Sure sounds to me like loose connection(s). You know...after banging (vibrating the dash) the lights come on.

Might be worth re-checking the connections behind the dash again...although I realize that means going back through the steps of the mod...but hey, its just your time and don't cost nuthin', right?

if ur lights go off again, u can try checking to see if the bulbs are secure, the lights are lit up by lil bulbs that "screw" in.. basically they take a quarter-turn.. maybe they came loose.. *shrug*
