Default Blue Dash for a 2005

Searching has made me more confused then ever...

Is there a kit I can buy to turn my dash blue?

What lights up the dash in a MY05? Is it LED's or incandescent bulbs?

If it's LED's, whats the part number for a new PCB so I can solder some LED's to it without screwing up my stock one?

If it's bulbs, has anyone switched them out for blue ones? Or white ones with blue filter that didn't burn to hot to mess anything up?

Sorry, just looking for a solution to get a blue dash. I'm good with my hands and willing to take the time if someone points me in the right direction.

Thanks!

Its not something you can buy, and its not as simple as just soldering in new LED's. It requires much more work. Art (DJ Cube) is having them made. Its taken a long time but he hopes to have them done sooner rather than later.

Maybe I should of included the fact that I'm an engineer during the day, have lots of experience soldering, and am dead set on having a blue dash...

I guess I really want to know is what is the stock form of lighting? Is it a panel of LED's or is it several incandescent bulbs?

on both of those threads, they don't sell a kit or give a parts list for us to make it, nor a little more detail how to

just pay someone to do it its going to cost a fortune. i think you have to replace every single dash bulb witha new blue led...if you dont know how to do it, i wouldnt attempt a DIY whether you have a guide or not. This is not something you want to just attempt to do and see how it turns out.

I'm still working on it. Give me some time. There are a few things I want to tweak before I do a write up on how I did it...
