I came across this and ended up thinking it might work pretty well in an S. I haven't actually checked to see how much wind there is at the mirror when driving top down, windows up, but I am thinking that having a self-contained handsfree in the mirror might deal with some of the noise issues. Doesn't sound like a bad price either! I like the hidden caller ID display also, don't have to take the eyes off the road so much.

Has anyone seen, used, or heard about this product?

Bump....I havent seen this post....I havent heard anything about it, but it has sparked my interest. If you do end up getting one, please let us know how it is.

 

Nice find... never seen this model either. The caller id in the rearview mirror would be convenient, but I'd prefer mount the controls near the steering wheel.

Can't imagine any handsfree kit would work well given the noise level in the cockpit. The directional mic is a start, but without digital noise reduction... the engine, exhaust would kill the conversation.

For the price it might be worth a shot...

edit: Sorry, just looked through the description... and the unit does have some sort of digital noise suppression. worth a shot.
