Blue Parrot reportedley works well in convertibles but I'm sure most wouldn't be willing to wear such a headset.

what kind of stereo do u have?
Alpine 103EBT with built in Parrot and external mic. Links to my other half's Samsung and my Blackberry 9000 with no issues

how often do u use it?
at least 3x a day. It does work incredibly well with a standard exhaust and the top down. I have my mic mounted towards the top of the A pillar. Seems counterintuitive on a convertible, but it works with this mic! It's better (Mic sensitivity, noise cancellation/correction and transmission of the caller's voice through speakers) than the stock BMW BT kit for example.

HOWEVER: With my Skunk2 dual it's a slightly different story... you can still have a conversation depending on throttle position I've been told that the other party can hear me fine, but I now have trouble hearing them above the drone on any less than 30/35 on the volume control (95w RMS x 2 amp driving Alpine Type R 6.5" splits)

does it have music streaming?
No streaming

I have the Kenwood X993 with BT. I don't use it though. I tried, but everyone says I sound horrible. I can hear them fine though. I am pretty sure it has the Parrot BT, maybe it's where I have the mic (on top of the steering column).

Those with the X994, what are you mic settings? Do you have any of the Noise Cancellation turned on or the gain? Where is your mic?

Right now I use a jawbone and I can drive with the top down and others can hear me, though I can't hear them at all.

I think the Bluetooth signal can very among the area you're using it. Big urban areas tend to get more interference.

I have an Ida-x001 with the 350bt and it works really well. Streams music over my iPhone 4 flawlessly.

I soo do! I carry two phone's (Blackberry=Work & Hero=Personal) and I love having both hooked up to my JVC, Blackberry for incoming work calls and my Hero steaming Pandora FTW! Even if I could only have my Hero hooked up for calls and Pandora that would still be awesome.
