I'm curious how the wiring schematics work for this...

Do you have to route the speaker cables through the module, then when you get a call it cuts the signal from passing through?

I guess MIC placement is critical too then... too close to the speaker(s) and the person on the other end would hear themselves echoing?

If you could try to keep any project questions and answers in here as opposed to PMs that would be great, I'm pretty interested in this install for myself!

I'm surprised you chose the driver door speaker actually, I find that due to the placement of them I tend to hear more sound from the passenger side because my leg blocks the driver speaker.

you're assuming my PM is about the blue tooth install... which it is not. Hence why I chose to PM him

No prob, just wanted to make sure
I'm not policing your communication

Side note: Why do people say "You've got PM." They get notified other ways as well....

hey guys,

I've finally found a good place for the h/f MIC but one problem - I don't know how to remove the dash trim piece (the plastic part that goes around the radio controls and temp control).

I know some of you removed it to paint body color but how does that come off? Does it just snap off?

Help me out so I can post some finished pics
