Default boost gauge and afr gauge

I'm working on an lcd boost/afr gauge combo because I hate the round gauge. I hope this is more of a low profile gauge compared to the aem round ones.
AFR gauge on top with bar graph indicator
boost gauge on the bottom with peak hold on the right side.
It will have a barometer to calibrate correct psi based on elevation.
It will also have a boost warning flash is it exceed the boost warning level.

Currently it'll work with the omni/hondata 4 bar map sensor.
I'm working on getting the steering column designed in solid works to have it cnc or plastic made to fit the lcd.

Let me know your thoughts. I need ideas and criticism.

If that LCD was on a ribbon cable you could mount that on the face of the radio door. If you get this finished up and the LCD on a ribbon, Id be interested in building it into the radio door just to see what I could do with it.

Yep, I was thinking the same thing. Spectacle pulled it off with a Tunerview II so this should fit in there quite easily!

I have the barometer setup done and it's currently working..... currently still working the menu. Still need a bit more coding. Now I need a bezel to be created to hold the gauge... Not sure who knows anything about creating a bezel out of plastic... or fiber glass.

Darknight,

I will let you know when it's done.

aphex4000,

It is similar to zetrionics but I wanted to make it affordable for myself/others. My goal was to have a stealth looking gauge to be able to display afr and boost into one. AFR has a bar graph while boost has ability to hold the max peak boost until being clears. I'm just trying to be different.

I've finished the coding last year but never got back to it because I sold the s2k and bought an NSX. Anyhow if anyone is intersted, I'm going to post a "how to" on my blog so anyone can build it.
