bose speakers
I got 2 BOSE 4" speakers with the box from Infiniti J30, I heard that the bose will not work with the aftermarket headunit but not sure. I got sony M630 so I wonder can I use the speakers with my SONY headunit?

I had 3.5" bose speakers in my old 300zx. They were 1 ohm and that would blow most amps in the deck. If you want to make sure you can hook up a ohm-meter to the speaker. It should be about 4ohms. Hope this helps.
Bose speakers run at a lower impedence like VTEC at 9000 says. You're better of buying new speakers that are compatible and meant to run with your Sony headunit. Bose systems don't sound good, they just have a strong marketing campaign.

Bose speakers are made to run on a entire Bose setup as far as I know... at least most of the older version. I do know that it is possible to make it work but in your case I would just go get yourself some nice new speakers
Just as a side note...as far as I know Bose speakers have an amp for each speaker built into each housing they are mounted in.

Like every said, Bose speakers run on funny ohms.....1.3ohms, 3.2 ohms, they make things weird. They dont work well with anything but bose equipment, and may damage it.
And always remember.......say it with me now....
"NO HIGHS, NO LOWS, IT MUST BE BOSE!"
