I picked up a V1 and wonder if I can use the direct-wire I have for my Passport, or if I have to rewire the whole thing for the V1. I am just talking about the phone-like cable, not a remote display.

BTW, the Passport is for sale, cheap.

BTW...

The cables are interchangeable. The V1 is kind of quirky compared to the 8500, but I am warming up to it.

My 8500 sold in less than 1 day.

 

i'm probably going to steal my friend v1 from her denali and swap it with my 8500..i'm sure she wouldn't notice the difference
