Talking Brand new AEM v1 install..

Hi all, had my AEM installed and tuned in March and just a few niggles that I want to get sorted so that I am 100% happy.

The first is the ECT fix from Modifry to fix the temp, is this worth it? or should I go down the next route of gauges..

PLX DM-100 or the AEM Serial gauge.
Any photos / videos of either of these working would be great: youtube has been trawled!

The PLX is winning at the moment, the AEM is ugly! Is it compatible with the AEM? Do I need any adapters etc...

Any other suggestions and pics of what you have got would be sweet!

The thing that really gets me is that I got the non wideband one so have an external gauge for AFR, I know you can piggy back the PLX devices, has anyone used the inline type wideband UEGO controller?

thanks!

You might have better luck posting in the electronics section. Do you want me to move the thread?

Is the carbon buildup around that area normal? Mine has a SLIGHT hint of this and I was worried.

yeah, mine has NONE of that build up. might be just a small leak that you have. he seems to have a larger leak there? im not 100 percent sure. my wideband is in my test pipe.

kermdaddy, sure mate!

Thanks Hershey, I am thinking I will do that with a PLX DM-100 and ditch the other gauges and get the PLX processing units for oil and AFR

Still interested to see if anyone has used the AEM inline AFR..
