I need recommendations for a camera system that supports the use of lipstick cameras (better still if it's multiple views being recorded at the same time). I'll be getting external mounts with long booms and need the unit to be light. Ideally would like a main recording unit that can sit inside the car and run a cable/fibre optic cable out to the lipstick camera. I feel there's less risk with this setup versus a standard setup where the whole camcorder is outside the car. Lipstick cameras can also be repositioned easily in tight spaces - like if I want to take footwell videos, etc.

Appreciate any advice.
