well, i should point out -- i haven't checked my email in a few days. but i DID pull it up today, and low and behold - i had several emails from http://autolumination.com . they were following up w/ me on my purchase to make sure i was happy. GREAT customer service. based on my overall experience, i'd recommend them again. easy shopping, quick delivery, product as promised, and good followup.

LOL its ok, I want to see you take pictures at night, pitch black with both red taillights and the license plate lamps giving off light and try to recreate it perfect!

No offense taken.

i've taken a slew of night or darkly lit shots in my years... many of them quite good. however, my hardcore photography days are mostly behind me, still i do know this much...

there's a huge difference between taking a great nightime artistic exposure photo (such as yours above) with a tripod, bracketed exposures, etc. and a quick snapshot to prove a concept.

i think it's clear that pikka was just taking a quick photo for illustration purposes. so, i think your point is made, and it can (and should) be left at that.

the 32 LED version (20 side, 12 direct facing) might not be a bad idea. especially since they are only an extra $2 more each.

PJK3, don't wast your money on the 32 leds. Check out my post about a page back, you'll see the difference.

PJK, those back up lights look nice. Hmm I should of ordered those too while I was at it. Oh well.

As for the camera, sure if you want me to pull out my tripod and set up for 5 minutes to take pictures of the license plate lights, I will. I am sure they will come out ten times better, but all I needed where quick shots.

Sarek, let us know how your reverse lights come out if you order some.

Looks great, but the $1M question is.........Has anyone completed the complete LED coversion by replacing the brake lights as well. Just wondering if there is a cheaper route than having to buy the >04 rear tails to get the LEDS.

Also,

Could you be so kind to post all the part numbers we need to order for the license plate, backup lights, and the front ambers.......

Thanks!

And this:

Where can I purchase the LED module? Is it plug and play ?

As for taking the light fixture apart, is it the same process as clearing the headlights?

Any help will be appreciated!!!!
