great, you're going to make me order these too!
will it fit inside the difuser/cover or does that distort the light?

pics! pics! pics!

... I hate what the s2000 has right now anyways since whenever the car is parked angled forward you can see the unsightly metal exposed under the plate frame. I plan on building a nice ABS shield for it anyways so stay tuned!

I'm also interested in the cover, let us know!!

Sarek,

The cover did not affect the light output with the first bulb, i dont think it will affect the new mega bulbs either. I wish I had my car!!

Was the cover on when you took those pics? I can't tell from the looks of it.

It looks a lot better IMO. I saw a GS last night and can totally tell a difference between his car and the car behind him and how yellow/dim the non LED lights are. Can't wait to see how much brighter the Supermegagalactic-nova LED's are.

i wish you had your car too! I'll also try to get a before and after shot when I get the bulbs!

Pikka,

sorry to hear about your little incident. i know i've had a couple of moments where i goosed the throttle a little too soon, or vtec kicked in a bit harder than i thought, etc. never had anything really bad happen, but did end up with a wheel in someone's front lawn once, just missing a monster curb... so, i can understand the feeling. hopefully, she'll be back as good as new and soon!

yeah, my HondaCare battle was a learning experience. i knew it was always going to be a bit of a risk (modding the car), but hadn't had issuess previously b/c my dealer always took care of me. either or -- i'm glad to be up and running again, and not $4000 poorer.

ok -- so the mega-Nova's seem way bigger? i'm not looking to blind those behind me , so i may just grab the 5 bulb version you had. the pics look great, and i think they really pair off well w/ the HID's. i might just look into the reverse lights as well... since i'd be going in anyway.

thanks for the great research.

*update*

ordered the 5 LED matrix 194 super white, 2 of the 15 LED matrix 7440 super white for reverse lights, and finally getting some proper amber LED's for front parking lights 5 LED matrix 194 amber.

after clearing years ago, i had installed amber incadesents (sp?), but they faded to white w/in months of putting them in. hopefully, this will give me nice legal appearing front parking lights.

site looks a little shady, but hoping that i have the same success Pikka did.

after looking though, i would doubt the supernova LED. it doesn't seem to have the same dispersal pattern as the 5 LED matrix, so i went w/ the 5 LED matrix for the plate light.

*crosses fingers*

i'll post pics when everything arrives, and i get them installed.

cool. would you know which light bulb it is for the interior? Are you thinking of changing those too? I would love to see pics of that!
I couldn't find the bulb # on search..

Kinda on topic....but the GS also has what i believe is called a vanity light?

anyway its a white LED or two which shines on the shifter area at night...its not bright enough to distract the driver but ads just enough light in the cabin.

I bought a white LED and holder and drilled a hole where the current map lights are, i just have to run a wire up to it from the illumination signal in the car......should be pretty neat (the S is very dark inside at night with no street lights around....)
also i need to find the correct resistor, because the white LED is a 3.6 volt led and will burnout on a 12v circuit......
