Default Can the S2000 be programmed so horn will

When I lock the car using the keyless remote I hit the button twice so there is audible confirmation of the lock. I hate when the horn goes off. Can the car be programmed so there is a sound/beep other than the horn?

Don't press it a second time. It only needs once to lock it. It's only in your own mind that you feel you need to hit the button a second time.

Press Unlock once = unlocks drivers door
Press Unlock twice = unlocks both doors
Press Lock once = locks BOTH doors
Press Lock twice = same thing, with the honk for verification

When you just push it once, you have to look to see if the parking lights flash to make sure it locked... a lot of things can keep it from locking like a door ajar, an ignition switch that thinks it still has a key in it, etc. Pushing twice for audible verification is a nice safeguard. A less noisy audible verification is what Keppie is looking for, and me too.

Not sure if its just mine, but I have the optional Honda alarm and if you hold down lock an unlock for a few seconds, you can turn off the beep the second time you push the lock button. I think it works with the normal keyless to.

hold down the lock and unlock button at the same time for a few seconds until you get a verification blink from the remote

not sure is this what you looking for but you can lock the car before you shut the door.

if you try to push the lock tab when the driver side door is open, it will not let you.

the process goes like this, pull the door handle(inside or outside), hold it and at the sametime, push in the lock tab.

this will locked both door regardless of rather the doors are open or close.

i personally use my keyless entry all the time, just to listen to my upgraded horn(I am a ricer)

The short and answer is "no". If you're looking for a sexy chirp like BMW we're SOL. We get the Roadrunner "beep beep". Personally, it doesn't bother me a bit.
