Driver door won't open

Default Driver door won't open

Yesterday I was at a track day. It was about 105 degrees. Suddendly when I tried to exit my car the driver door didn't open. Lock have no weight on it. I wss planning to change door speaker next weakend anyway but how will I remove the door panel if I can open the door??

Did your handle detach from the mechanism that connects it to the mechanical latch?

Both indoor and outdoor handles aren't working?

Yeah it won't open from any side.

Try pulling the door handle surround off from the inside to see if it is disconnected there. Its only one screw so it's an easy spot to start.

I did that and the lock doesn't have anything attach to it. After playing a lot door now open and close perfect exept for the inside lock. But i will look into that when I replace my door speakers this weekend
