This is ALWAYS a bad idea on a manual transmission. Just one time leave it in gear and you have thousands in damage to your front end.

bypassing the clutch engagement is easy on this car. You wire it directly to the starter wire below the ECU.

I'll give you a hint. If he wired the starter wires to behind the starter switch then he did it wrong.

He didn't tag all the ignition wires.

If you put the key in the ON position and remote start and it starts then ur starter wire for the remote start is fine...

Its the ignition wires, he didn't tag all of them. Directechs doesn't list all the ignition wires. Tell ur installers to test the wires and fine the 3rd ignition wire.

The only other thing they might have did wrong is the starter disable from the factory, if its hooked up wrong then it wont start either.

Those are the only two things it should be..

Ur starter wire should be fine, if it remote started from the key being in the ignition.

Compustar has a manual transmission remote start kit that has a special sequence you need to "set" before it'll arm for remote start. If you try to put it in gear, it won't let you remote start the car. Pretty slick.

on my Python system all i have to do is hit the foot brake, pull the ebrake and press the start button. (i have my start button set as my activation input)

When i am coming to to stop into a parking space i am already going to be pressing the foot brake, and i always use the ebrake anyways. so the only extra thing is to hit the start button before i open the door. How hard is that? The car stays running when i remove the key and when i hit lock it shuts down.
