Yes and no. I will still have the board and hard drive, but it will just be short one memory stick, so it will be 512 instead of a GIG. I am going to reuse the power supply as well. If you want it Steve, I will give you the board/RAM/hard drive/WiFi card for $50. I have no case for it ether but this will give you a few parts to start out with. Let me know and it's yours:
2.2ghz Motherboard
3.5" Hard drive
512 RAM
wireless PCI card
Add bluetooth and get a bluetooth data-capable cell phone for internet while your in the car!
My Palm 700w with verizon EVDO service is surprisingly fast.
Yeah that EvDO is blazing fast. I had that when I was with Sprint PCS. I ended up going back to Nextel for work purposes so now I don't have the EvDO anymore. Oh well, probably better off so I don't try to surf the net at 80MPH

I'm going to be using my sling player on mine via my 6700 with EVDO. Watching live TV in my car .
I'm still waiting for my mobo. They sent me the wrong one again . Now they are out of stock.
Well, the long trip down to the dragon allowed me to really see what the PC can do. I am glad to report that I had zero failures in 2300 miles total. iGuidance was spot on and I was a happy camper. I did however wish that I had use of the OEM audio controls to the left of the steering wheel. I had spoken to modifry about making a DCI for me using a USB ir remote control for windows media player. He is very busy though, and after some research I have found a better way...
I took a PC joystick that I was not using anymore. Then I gutted it! (a USB gamepad works the same). What I am going to do is wire the OEM dash controls to operate the individual buttons on the joystick. The joystick button presses can be translated by the PC into commands such as mute, vol + and -, next track etc... So far, I have the wires soldered onto the PC boards of the gutted joystick. I used a CAT5 cable to do the jumping. Tomorrow, I will disect the OEM controler and solder the jumpers to it. Then it will all go back into the car and be ready for use. Should make things alot more convenient!
PICS:
This is the type of joystick I hacked:
This is the guts of the joystick. You can see where I soldered the CAT5 wires to the individual button switches. When the other ends of the wires are soldered to the OEM audio controls, they will transfer the pressing to the joystick which will operate the PC!!
