Default CD changer install, 2006

Hey guys,

I purchased a used oem changer for the S and thought I completed the install until I find out that there wasnt an extra imput to plug the changer in. Am I missing some type of Y harness or something? Thanks for the help or the bashing im about to receive .

Do you have anything else plugged in such as an xm tuner? For my 2006, all I had to do was connect the cd changer plug to the factory routed plug in the trunk (driver seat side). Piece of cake. You don't even really need a installation kit if you don't want it. You only need a Y harness if you plug in an xm tuner.

I'm trying to remember this from the top of my head so here it goes.... Open the trunk and take out the carpeting that covers the spare tire. Now take out the carpeting covering the drive side. You should be able to see a harness with a plug on the end. Take off the plug cover on the end of the wire and plug your changer into it. Its that easy!
