Having trouble getting the cd unit out

 

I had the same problem with the S I just bought and the stock stereo sounded so bad I just bought a new one on Amazon for $25 and a $5 harness to make wiring simple. Honestly sounds so much better, more features, and probably cheaper than fixing yours (I no longer have access to driver mounted steering controls but it hasn't bothered me).
