Default CD Player not working

I was hoping that someone could help me. My CD player used to spit out a CD when it played for a while. Now, it doesn't accept any..I just get an "E"...now I can't play any CD's. What can I do without having to replace it. I noticed that someone else had the same problem but I didn't see a solution.

HELP..

Thanks,

Tony

That would be a good solution, however, I was hoping to avoid that. Any other suggestions.

Thanks

use a CD cleaner disk. if that doesn't work, consider it trash....

i seriously seriously doubt it can be saved for anything less than the price of a new one.

if you post a WTB, there are probably dozens of people who have stereos of your MY that would gladly sell them for cheap.

If your car is still under warrranty take it to the dealer. The player may need replacing.
