Changing 02 radio door to 04 - Need help

well didn't get a response, but i figured out the perfect way to do it.

Take a small tack nail, I think that's what it's called-- anyway it's a small nail that fits in the hole, and the head is just a little bigger, but still fits through the opening. hammer it in carefully from the inside. then take some plyers and, with someone holding the other end of the vent part, yank the inside pin out. much easier IMO, and it's a good solution if the hanger trick doesn't work. a little word of advise -- use duct tape to protect the vent area that's going back in your car. mine got a little scratched up.
