Default Changing the head unit

Does anyone know how to change the head unit without losing the stock alarm/keyless entry?

the funniest thing is, i know of GMC stereos where it DOES matter... and where pulling the OEM HU means that you loose your alarm and door chimes...

Thank you s2kmugen! Yes, for everyones information on the 98 Civic that I traded in on this car, I had to gut the old radio and stuff the remains behind the dash to keep the keyless entry. I thought that honda might not have learned their lesson, but s2kmugen answered my question WITHOUT any wise ass comments to someone who is new to this car. Thank you again s2kmugen.

Me, getting my HU put in on my Cavalier a few years back...

Me: I want you guys to install this HU.
Them: You don't want to do that.
Me: Yes, I do.
Them: No you don't.
Me: Yes, I DO!
Them: You'll lose your door chimes.
Me: Like I care? Besides, I already knew that.
Them: Okay, no problem.

There was actually a rumor going around that replacing the HU could cause the airbags to deploy lol.
