Default Cheap and Easy, Dash and Switch Lights!

Confirmed last week that "8640 Wire Terminal Bulb" will replace the following:

A/C Unit Side Bulbs
- (2) 79628-S2A-003 (Orange)
- (2) 79670-SL0-A01 (Long White)

Simply unwrap the original bulb wires from the plastic base, slide the new bulb in the old base, re-wrap wires on the base and snip off the extra wire. Like Christmas Tree lights. Easy.

Bulb appears to be the same in all aspects. Silicone Orange cover slid right on (fit right), and bulb brightness looks the same as the originals.

I bought mine here:
https://www.bulbtown.com/8640_Miniat...ase_p/8640.htm
8640 Wire Terminal Bulbs ($0.55 each + shipping)

They are also available in larger quantities on Amazon and Ebay.

I have not confirmed, but it appears "8111 Wire Terminal Bulb" will work for the smaller bulb requirements for Radio Controls and other Switches. My Defrost Switch light is burned out, and I will try that next.
